2025 Recovery Month Celebration

The Louisiana Department of Health – Office of Behavioral Health is inviting everyone to attend the 2025 Recovery Month Celebration.

Event Details

Date: Thursday, September 18, 2025

Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (check-in begins at 4:30 PM)

Location: Capitol Park Museum, 660 N. 4th Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802

Theme: “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger”

This year’s celebration will highlight the strength, hope, and unity of individuals, families, and communities impacted by mental health and substance use recovery. The program includes:

  1. Inspiring recovery stories and testimonies
  2. Live music and entertainment
  3. Informational tables hosted by recovery partners
  4. Interactive activities (bracelet making, community mural, art table, yard games)
  5. Refreshments and opportunities for networking
