Office Closure: Hurricane Francine

Due to Hurricane Francine, all FPHSA outpatient clinics and Administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, September 11 through noon on Thursday, September 12.

If you experience a behavioral health crisis during office closure, you can access our after-hours emergency line through ViaLink by dialing ‪1-855-268-1091 or “211”. You can also access crisis chat at ‪www.vialink.org. Text Chat is also available by texting “TXT211” to ‪504-777-EASE (3273).

If you have a medical emergency, please go to the nearest Emergency Room or dial 911.

Vocational Services

Vocational Services are designed for the participant to have a meaningful work and community activities.

Day Habilitation

The participant is offered a choice of daily activities in the community. Services are provided to participants which will assist in developing social, adaptive skills and community living experiences.

Participants of retirement age will be offered meaningful retirement activities in the community.

Prevocational

The participant will have activities which focus on development of general, non-job-task-specific strengths and skills that will contribute to employability in paid employment in the community.

Supported Employment

The participant will have a plan focusing on employment in the community where the majority of the people employed do not have a disability. The services may be on going as it relates to the disability and need.
