Mental Health Month Awareness Events

Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? Please click here to learn more information and click here to review the Proclamation issued by Governor Landry.

FPHSA offers mental health services and you can locate a clinic near you by visiting: https://fphsa.org/behavioral-health-services/locations/

In addition, FPHSA is offering two mental health awareness events in the community. Please spread the word and be sure to look for our Mobile Unit next week at Carter’s Supermarket in Denham Springs on May 22’nd and Planet Fitness Parking Lot in Slidell on May 23’rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (please see the flyer below or click here to download)

You can come grab some goodies, learn about our services, and/or receive a FREE mental health screening.

Know someone struggling with mental health but isn’t ready to make an appointment to talk to a mental health professional just yet? Encourage them to come see us for a private and confidential screening. There is no obligation for further treatment.

Join us as FPHSA continues to light the path forward in our community on the importance of mental health!
