FPHSA NEWS

LivingWorks Southern Region Trainer Meetup

FPHSA partnered with LivingWorks to host their Southern Region Training Meetup. LivingWorks is the organization that owns ASIST and SafeTALK. FPHSA assisted planning the date, scheduling the room through NAMI, and had two staff speak at the event. Special thanks to FPHSA LivingWorks trainers: Kasi Silbernagel, Gilda Moore, Jennifer Weller, and MarySue Adams. There was a total of 15 Trainers from Louisiana and Mississippi who attended the Trainer Meetup.  After connecting together over lunch, they had some great discussion on how to prepare and plan for a successful workshop, how to handle common trainer dilemmas, and what to do when the unexpected occurs in a workshop.
