Participants:
The meeting is open to the public but we are encouraging representatives from faith-based agencies including churches, food banks, thrift stores, missions, collegiate ministries, parish chaplain (or representative from chaplain corps), and any other interested faith-based community (FBC) members to especially attend.

FPHSA Faith-Based Initiative Meeting Purposes:
– ENGAGE coalition members in learning the signs and symptoms to look for in mental illness/substance abuse
– INTERACT through discussion on everyone’s role in identifying community needs
-NETWORK to identify community resources/services that will help meet needs
-CONTACT available community resources to help INVOLVE community in changes that need to happen
-Increase understanding/empathy from learning about opportunities and CONNECTIONS created
-Help eliminate/reduce mental health/substance use stigmas & encourage SUPPORT through healthy COMMUNICATION.
