INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS NOTICE REGARDING SERVICES ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2024

All FPHSA Outpatient Clinics and Offices will be closed on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, due to the extreme weather conditions.

If you or a loved one experiences a behavioral health crisis during this time, you can access our after-hours/ emergency line by dialing 1-855-268-1091 or “211”. You may also access crisis chat at www.vialink.org. Text Chat is also available by texting “TXT211” to 504-777-EASE (3273).

If you have a medical emergency, please go to the nearest Emergency Room or dial 911. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is 988.

CANCELLED ASIST Workshop – Suicide Intervention Skills Training (March 21-22, 2024)

UPDATE: The decision has been made to cancel the ASIST workshop for March 21st and 22nd, 2024 in Slidell, Louisiana as we unfortunately did not meet the minimum participation requirements needed per Livingworks standards. We will have upcoming workshop available and plan to reschedule a Slidell location for a future date. Please reach out to Kasi Silbernagel, Kasi.Silbernagel@fphsa.org, if interested in attending an ASIST workshop or would like more information. 

FPHSA is offering a free ASIST Workshop – Make a difference in your community by learning and practicing life-saving interventions to help save lives from suicide.
