RKM Primary Care reached out to us inquiring if we would be willing to host an ASIST workshop for their education-based clinicians in Livingston, Tangipahoa, Baton Rouge, and East Feliciana schools during their teacher development days before the Spring Semester. Our answer was “absolutely!!”
39 participants learned and practiced life-saving interventions to help keep their community safer from suicide because of this.
Thank you RKM Primary Care for partnering with FPHSA to share these life-changing suicide first aid skills with your clinicians. Also, a big special thanks to Southeastern Livingston Center Campus for allowing us to host this workshop at your beautiful campus.
As always, special thanks to our FPHSA ASIST Trainers- Kasi Silbernagel, MarySue Adams, and Jennifer Weller! You are the best of the best!
