When you or someone you love is coping with compromised mental health it can be a lot to handle. It’s important to remember that good mental health is essential to everyone’s well-being, and mental illnesses are common but are also treatable. It is important to remember that people experience symptoms of mental illnesses differently—and some engage in potentially dangerous or risky behaviors to avoid or cover up symptoms.

"Well-Ahead" to Becoming a WellSpot Worksite

At Florida Parishes Human Service Authority, the health and well‐being of our employees and persons we serve is important to us. As a result, FPHSA is partnering with the Louisiana Department of Health’s  (LDH’s) Well-Ahead LA program to be designated as a WellSpot worksite. LDH is recognizing organizations that commit to making the healthy choice, the easy choice through healthier environments, and increased access to healthy choices.  Being designated as a LDH Well-Ahead WellSpot worksite strategically aligns with our mission.
