Holiday Office Closure

Independence Day- July 4, 2018

All FPHSA outpatient clinics and offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday the and will reopen on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

If you experience a behavioral health crisis, you can access our after-hours emergency line through ViaLink by dialing 1-855-268-1091 or “211”. You can also access crisis chat at www.vialink.org. Text Chat is also available by texting “TXT211” to 504-777-EASE (3273).

If you have a medical emergency, please go to the nearest Emergency Room or dial 911.

The Opioid Epidemic Summit: Prevalence, Screening/Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment

Florida Parishes Human Services Authority is hosting a Summit for Clinicians to develop an understanding of the scope of the Opioid Epidemic, successful approaches for screening and assessment, and various EBP modalities available for treating persons with OUD and co-occurring disorders. 3.25 CEUs will be available.

Town Hall Meeting on the Opioid Epidemic

Hosted by: Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) and Louisiana  Department of Health (LDH)

Join FPHSA and LDH as we invite consumers and interested parties to a dialogue about the opioid epidemic in Region 9. On your lunch break, come to hear about what services the region is offering, and what is available on a statewide basis. You will hear from leaders at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority, the state Offices of Behavioral Health, Public Health and Medicaid. We are interested to hear about your concerns, and ideas about how the region can continue to provide services for those in need due to the opioid epidemic!
