LA Office of State Parks is Hiring

The Louisiana Office of State Parks is currently hiring persons with disabilities to fill positions within each of the 21 state parks throughout Louisiana. OCDD Community Meetings

The Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) is holding community meetings to share information regarding the move to a Tiered Waiver System, a change from the current first-come, first-served basis. If you reside in Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, or Washington Parish and you or a family member is on the waiver waiting list popularly known as the “NOW Waiver”, Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) encourages you to one the meetings listed on the flyer. Please note that there will be two meetings in our direct service area on April 4th in Covington (10-11:30 a.m.) and Hammond (5-6:30 p.m.).

The Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) is preparing for renewal of the Residential Options Waiver (ROW). The draft renewal application is posted on this link listed:  http://dhh.louisiana.gov/index.cfm/page/2526  A hard copy of the draft renewal application is available for review at 835 Pride Drive, Suite B, Room 43, Hammond, 70401. Public comment period begins March 16, 2018 and will end at 4:30 pm on April 14, 2018. Interested persons may submit written comments to : the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities, P.O. Box 3117 (Bin 21), Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70821-3117, Attention: Residential Options Waiver Manager, or by email to ocdd-hcbs@la.gov.
