Harvey Relief Efforts

An Opportunity to Contribute to Harvey Relief Efforts

To support victims devastated by the unrelenting rains and catastrophic flooding wrought by Hurricane Harvey, FPHSA's Employee Relations Committee (ERC) will be setting up donation boxes at every clinic/facility to collect supplies. Efforts will be coordinated with the local fire department. Supplies will be accepted through Friday, September 15th.

Recognition of Board Member's Service

Jan Robert, FPHSA Governing Board Member/ St. Tammany Parish

On Friday, August 25, 2017, Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) and its Governing Board recognized Ms. Jan Robert for her service and dedication as a board member representing St. Tammany Parish from 2013 to 2017. Ms. Robert retired during her second term as a board member. She was presented with a plaque and wished the very best by all.

FPHSA Speaks Out to Young People about Suicide

The Youth Department at "Showers of Blessing Deliverance Temple" in Hammond, Louisiana invited Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) to speak at their Teen Summit on Saturday, August 5th during their  “I Am Free” Youth Celebration Conference. The summit drew in a crowd of approximately 40 young adults, adolescents, and children to teach them how to make an impact on their community.  

FPHSA appreciates Aimee Foil, FPHSA-Rosenblum Behavioral Health Clinic Manager (pictured to the right), for attending the event and participating by giving an informational presentation regarding suicide.
