Combatting the Opioid Crisis in Washington Parish

 
Staff from FPHSA and Volunteers of America met with Senator Beth Mizell, Representative Malinda White, and Rene Ragas of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System earlier this week with a view towards organizing a consortium to combat the opioid crisis in Washington Parish. This effort hopes to result in the securing of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funding to develop linkages and improved recovery options.
